Ohio authorities released new security camera footage showing the woman allegedly stole a vehicle with twins inside outside a Columbus food company.
The search for 5-month-old Kason Thomas began on Monday evening after the boy and his brother Kyar go missing at the hands of an alleged homeless woman who takes over their mother’s vehicle they were in.
The mother left the children, around 21:45, in the black sedan 2010 Honda Accord brand when picking up a food order.
The woman walked into Donatos Pizza in the Short North Arts District northeast Colombo.
Within seconds, the offender took the car. When the mother looked at her car from inside the club, she realized that neither the vehicle nor her children were in the area.
Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant said at a press conference yesterday afternoon that witnesses reported this the suspect, identified as Nalah Jackson, 24, was sitting inside the restaurant when his mother entered.
Security camera images show when a woman, who would it be Jackson, abandoned Kyair at Dayton International Airport at approximately 4:30 in the morning It’s not clear why the girl didn’t leave the other child behind, which worries the authorities.
The whereabouts of the brother of Kyair it is unknown as the search continues. Furthermore, there is no trace of the stolen vehicle.
โPlease return Kason.Bryant said at the call-up to Jackson. โRight now our concern is to get the baby back. We want to make sure Kason is safe,” the official added.
The most recent surveillance images released by authorities show a woman who would be Jackson at a gas station where he asked an employee for money.
The recording was captured just before the audiovisual material located it at the airport.
