Emirati artist, Belqis, expressed her great happiness with her revival of the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar, noting that she feels proud of that experience.
Belqis said during her meeting on the programme, that her participation in the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony is a great addition to her pending artistic career. I was very impressed with the level of organization in Qatar, and was proud and happy to participate, and my adrenaline was high like a bird flying in the sky, and the moment I stepped on stage, looking at the big crowd around me, and the interaction of the crowd… I was in a state of astonishment.
And regarding the golden look she wore to the ceremony, Belqis replied: The crowd in the stadium compared my look to the World Cup, and said we saw the cup on the pitch, and that I would appear in “high heels,” but FIFA prevented me and I had to wear shoes without heels.
Belqis, on the other hand, was the star of the ceremony, in the presence of numerous world and Arab stars, in a song combination that was presented directly to the world on the match ground at Lusail Stadium, which hosted the final between Argentina and France.
Belqis attended the closing ceremony with Davido, Aisha, Ozuna, James, Noura Fatehi and Rahma Riad where the audience interacted a lot with them.
Belqis appeared in a golden look, through dresses specially prepared for her by Valentino, to be the first Arab artist to wear dresses specially made for her by the Italian fashion house.
