Al-Marsad Newspaper: Eyewitnesses revealed details of the last moments of the accident of a citizen’s vehicle catching fire while he was inside it, and the perpetrator’s escape, leaving the victim to fight the fire, which led upon his death, within parking lots in southern housing in Jeddah Governorate.
According to “Okaz”, witnesses reported that the accident took place in a parking lot under a building, after the victim stopped his car and the perpetrator went to the scene under the pretext of discussing his victim in a matter of a previous dispute.
Witnesses added that the victim gathered her strength and got out of the car with severe burns, and asked for her help in calling an ambulance, followed by asking the perpetrator, “I’m what I did.” she breathed from her severe burns.
For his part, the father of the victim demanded that the perpetrator be severely punished, stressing that there were accomplices with him.
Interestingly, the Jeddah Governorate Police announced the arrest of the perpetrator, and the inference procedures showed that there is a previous dispute between the two sides, and he was arrested and regular measures were taken against him. he is referred to the prosecutor.
Informed sources revealed that the victim was an employee of Saudi Airlines. And that his car, in which he was inside, was set on fire with petrol, poured on the vehicle and set on fire by four people over personal disputes between them.
