DUBAI, December 21st, WAM/ The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Innovation Center offers its visitors the opportunity to take innovative tours in the centre, see pioneering performances using drones and hologram technology and experience many interactive experiences including the experience of self-driving electric buses and other innovative technologies.
Building on metaverse technology, the center within Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park allows its visitors to experience a unique experience that takes visitors on a virtual journey through the complex.
With the aim of spreading the culture of innovation among institutions and individuals and highlighting the sectors that will drive the innovation process in the future, as well as developing the skills of the next generation of innovators, the Innovation Center offers visitors the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in the field of clean energy technologies, starting with the exhibition area on the first floor that highlights the march of DEWA, as well as the most important historical inventions and innovations in the field of electricity and the latest developments in the field of renewables and sustainable energy.
The exhibition area includes more than 35 interactive displays to present renewable energy developments to visitors, as well as the Authority’s museum and water desalination plants, an optical area explaining the characteristics of light and solar radiation, an exhibition on the development of solar energy technologies , the basic components of photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic and concentrated solar energy technologies and the solar tower The development of renewable energy in the authority, DEWA intelligent, solar cell applications in space vehicles and satellites, as well as the development of sustainable buildings in the authority. The center also includes a café and gift shop.
