Sigourney Weaver said at the film’s launch event, “I went back to high school to rediscover my teenage mentality and I’m delighted with this opportunity to play a young character. 12-15 year olds change quickly and I needed to find him. The details of the film fit the character perfectly. It also gave me a lot of room to act, and this film is more about emotion and character development than the previous one, and I liked it.”
