It was reported that Cristiano Ronaldo (37, Portugal) will sign a contract with Al Nasr, a Saudi Arabian club team, within the year.
Spanish media Marca said on the 21st that “Ronaldo will sign a contract within this year” and “the duration of the contract is until June 2025”.
Marca expected an annual salary of 200 million euros (about 273 billion won) for a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Ronaldo currently does not have a team. Ronaldo, who played for Manchester United in English professional football until last November, has terminated his contract with Manchester United ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening in Qatar.
Marca said: “I will spend my Christmas holidays in Dubai” and predicted that even if Ronaldo signed with Al Nasr, the timing would be next week.
Reports of Ronaldo’s departure to Al Nasr came out once during the World Cup. However, Ronaldo’s team denied it.
