Crude inventories in the United States decrease and fuel inventories increase

U.S. crude oil inventories fell last week, while gasoline and distillate inventories rose, he said

The sources said crude inventories fell by about 3.1 million barrels in the week ending Dec. 16.

Gasoline inventories increased by about 4.5 million barrels, while distillate inventories increased by 828,000 barrels, according to the sources.
