Despite some mixed reviews or glitches on the PC version, the shooter High on Life made it to the Xbox Game Pass most played list.
The work of Squanch Games and Justin Roiland, one of the creators of Rick & Morty, has in fact ended up being the most popular game on the Microsoft subscription service, in both its PC and console versions.
In fact, on consoles, more gamers signed up this week to play High on Life on its Xbox version than popular titles like Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, FIFA 22, and Rainbow Six Siege. In fact, it currently surpasses any first-party Microsoft development, including Minecraft, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Sea of Thieves.
Out of curiosity, in the PC version High on Life is registering more users than the same Microsoft Solitaire Collection which comes by default on Windows computers.
The recent release of the game, the reminiscence with Rick and Morty and the fact that many younger players are currently on winter break are some of the reasons behind the huge popularity of the title.
High on Life is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, available from launch day on Game Pass.
