Karachi: 12 people died in a huge fire in Pakistan’s Balochistan province where a gas cylinder exploded. 25 people suffered severe burns. Police said the death toll was likely to rise. The Dawn newspaper reported that the tank exploded while refueling at the shop in Lasbela district on Monday.
The fire spread to other cylinders and nearby shops. Four shops have been gutted. Several bicycles parked nearby were also destroyed.
