The driver of a semi-trailer crashed into the wall of a company building in the Lennetal district of Hagen with a blood alcohol content of 2.84.
At around 3:50 pm on Monday (December 19), the 38-year-old man drove the truck to the company headquarters. The truck partially broke through the wall due to the force of the impact.
When the incident was recorded, police officers noticed the smell of alcohol on the 38-year-old’s breath. An alcohol test showed a value of 2.84 per mille. The driver had to take a blood sample.
The police also confiscated his license. The Hagen police are not yet able to provide any information on the extent of the damage caused. The traffic commissioner is now investigating the danger to road traffic.
