Project incident Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) resulted in the deaths of two Chinese nationals. The cause of the crash is now revealed.
The Jakarta Bandung Fast Train Project accident occurred on Sunday (12/18/2022) around 4:00 PM WIB. The video of the technical accident on the train has even gone viral on social media.
Reported detikjabar, Sunday (12/18), the crash site for KCJB technical train was precisely on the fast train line of Campaka village, Campakamekar village, Padalarang district, West Bandung Regency, West Java (West Java). The police have deployed a special team to investigate the technical accident of the train for the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) project.
“We sent a team. Then we also brought a team from Puslabfor Mabes Polri,” said Kombes K Yani Sudarto, Directorate-General for Criminal Investigations of West Java Regional Police, at the scene, reported by detikJabar.
Two people killed WN China
The National Police said two victims died in a technical train crash for the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train project. Additionally, five fatalities were recorded as seriously injured.
“The current one for updateI will ask again later, for the casualties 2 people died, then there were 5 seriously injured,” National Police Inspector General Public Relations Division Chief Dedi Prasetyo said at National Police Headquarters, Jakarta , Monday (19/12).
Police confirmed that all the victims had been identified. Two foreigners (WNA) died as a result of the accident.
“The first thing that is clear is that Inafis has identified the victims, all the victims are identified as dead or injured victims,” Dedi said.
Both are technical workers of Chinese nationality. The identities of the two dead victims were Chang Shin Shang (40) and Chang Shin Yung (36).
