“Gustavo will be a suitable addition to our squad. I’m sure he will help us a lot on our journey,” Nadal said.
Marcaccio, who finished 284th in the ATP rankings in 2004, had previously coached his compatriot Juan Mónac, former world number 10. Since last April he has been working at Nadal’s tennis academy in Mallorca.
Hi everyone. I want to inform you of the incorporation of Gustavo Marcaccio (🇦🇷) to the technical team. Gustavo has been working at @rafanadalacademy since April 2021 and I understand he is a good addition to the team. He will certainly help us a lot to follow the path. He will now join the 36-year-old Spanish star’s other coaches, Carlos Moy and Marc López.
“Francis has been an important person in my career and I am grateful to him for all these years of work and friendship. When we started working together, I was still a child and together with my uncle Toni we looked around the track” Nadal added to the ‘ address of now former coach Roig.
