Citibank Heavy News: Chairman Mo Zhaohong steps down to take effect on New Year’s Day next year

Citibank to sell Taiwan consumer finance business to DBS Bank. The transaction is expected to be completed in the middle of next year. A board meeting will be held in January next year to elect a new president.

Citigroup Taiwan said in a statement that Mo Zhaohong will retire in January next year after serving Citigroup for more than 28 years. Over the years, Mo Zhaohong has made many important contributions to Citigroup. During the corporate transfer process, he also fully demonstrated his leadership ability, thanked Mo Zhaohong for his contribution to Citigroup, and wished him a new journey in life.

Citigroup Taiwan again announced this evening that due to personal career planning, Mo Zhaohong will retire from Citigroup (Taiwan) Commercial Bank and step down as chairman of the bank. The effective date is January 1, 2012; Citigroup Taiwan said: The board of directors will be held in January 2012 to elect a new chairman.
