Asus markets its first foldable screen laptop in Indonesia
Asus unveiled its first 17-inch foldable OLED laptop, the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, in Indonesia. This laptop was first showcased by Asus at the CES 2022 event and then brought a different usage offering from other laptops in the market.
The Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is the result of Asus’ collaboration with Intel and BOE, featuring a 17-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2.5K and a 4:3 aspect ratio. However, when folded, this device can be used in laptop mode with a 12.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio.
This ability is also possible thanks to the special hinge that Asus uses on this device. The hinge is said to have a special structure that not only makes it easier for users to operate the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, but is also designed to last up to 30,000 times of opening and closing.
