Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar today, the Turkish presidency has announced.
The announcement specifies that Erdogan’s visit is at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The Turkish president was also present at the opening ceremony of the World Cup on November 20, recalls BTA.
