Kasaragod – MP Rajmohan Unnithan made misogynistic remarks against former Congress leader and lawyer CK Sreedharan, who was the defendant’s lawyer in the Periya double murder case. CK Sreedharan is said to be a person who maintains an ungodly relationship for money and it is fortunate of the people of Kanhangat and Kerala that he was not born as a woman.
‘Sreedharan, the special prosecutor, fails to appear in court on the day the defendant’s appeal in TP Chandrasekaran murder case is considered, the youths are sent. That day we saw the collapse of the courts in the days when the Marxist leader Monahan and the witnesses to convict him were called to question him. He has ties to the Marxist party and RSS for money. His body belongs to the Congress and his mind belongs to the Marxist Party and the BJP. It can only be said that the people of Kanhangat and Kerala are lucky that he was not born a woman.’- Unnithan said in a press conference.
Sreedharan also deceived the family of Saratlal and Kripesh who were killed in Periya. The family had handed over all the information on the case to Sreedharan who took over at that time. The information was exchanged in a hotel room in Ernakulam. Sreedharan, who was a Congress leader, was not distrusted at the time. But later, when the family asked for a CBI investigation, he was denied. He said he would never take over the CBI. Whether or not the CBI will take over can only be decided when the trial takes place. How can an eminent lawyer like CK Sreedharan set a precedent? There was a scam. Unnithan said that Sreedharan is what Pilate and Judas are.
