Initially, Alex admitted that he had heard that there were unscrupulous officials from the DKI Jakarta provincial government who were still trying to find additional money from the Goods and Services Procurement (PBJ) Process and Arranging Permits. According to him, the point most prone to budgetary leaks is related to the procurement of licensing-related goods and services in the DKI provincial government.
“We still often hear and receive information that there are still people trying to get additional income especially in the PBJ process,” Alex told reporters at the DKI Jakarta City Hall.
Alex also said that one of the ministry officials was jealous of the income of DKI Jakarta Pemprov employees.
“The welfare level, the income level is far above the average, there is even a director general of the ministry who is jealous of the income of the provincial government office head of DKI,” he said.
Alex encouraged the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate to pay close attention to these findings and carry out an investigation, as the process of sourcing goods and services and licensing is one of the budget leak points. This is where, Alex said, there are officials who have assets in the form of dozens of land plots, i.e. 20-25 land plots.
“Sometimes I can’t stop thinking that when I check the LHKPN of such and such officials, I have access to open the LKHPN of all directors of state officials, including DKI provincial government officials. I check that, wow, there that’s 20-25 plots of land. We’re sane or not,” he said.
