Good news for the Blues ahead of Argentina!

If the virus that has been raging among the Blues for several days made two new victims on Friday, the trend was for an improvement in the situation.

On the eve of the final shock against Argentina, France’s doctors have no shortage of work. On Friday, two days before the World Cup final, five players were missing at the time of collective training. While after Kingsley Coman, Raphaël Varane and Ibrahima Konaté were themselves affected by the virus that is spreading to the Blues’ breast, Aurélien Tchouameni and Théo Hernandez have treated minor hip and knee injuries.

However, the Blues received good news. The first players affected by the virus, Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot, appear to have fully recovered. The two men were able to train normally on Friday, especially during split training, and then apply for a starting position against Albiceleste on Sunday.

The health conditions of Kingsley Coman and Raphaël Varane are also improving, after the first symptoms after the match against Morocco. According to RMC Sport, the two men are expected to return to training this Saturday during the last session before the final. It should be the same for Théo Hernandez and Aurélien Tchouameni, on which the staff is currently optimistic. The most worrying case therefore remains that of Ibrahima Konaté, more seriously affected than Raphaël Varane and who should not be fully recovered in time.

The Azzurri, however, want to be serene. “We are not worried, we have only taken precautions”, blasted Ousmane Dembélé at a press conference. A serenity shared by Randal Kolo Muani. “It’s a little flu. Nothing bad. They will recover very quickly. We won’t worry. It will get better soon.” assured the former Nantes player.
