Roy Marten explained the illness his brother had, Rudy Salam. At that time there was an explanation that Rudy Salam had been dead from depression for seven years.
Roy Marten said Rudy Salam’s depression started with dizziness. Rudy Salam’s depression is the result of the accumulation of all the diseases that he has.
“Her depression was due to hoarding. So, at first, my sister felt dizzy, then she felt dizzy. The doctor always went for treatment and said there was no disease. Her heart is good, her lungs are good, but her engine is shaking because she’s too lazy to move because she’s dizzy,” she said Roy Marten at Trans TV Building, Jalan Captain P Tendean, South Jakarta.
Due to dizziness, Rudy Salam chose to sit and rarely move so that his head no longer ached.
Rudy Salam ended up being silent for too long and it made the muscles in his body tighten. That was one of the reasons Rudy Salam could no longer walk.
Roy Marten added that Rudy Salam also suffered from depression because his body could no longer be moved.
“After a long time he didn’t want to walk, he sat. Then he continued to sit for a long time and his muscles shrank. So, the buildups continued to be depression, because you can’t move, you can’t do this and that, so it’s a physical pain, the thoughts that build up over seven years,” explained Roy Marten.
Also, Rudy Salam was still able to speak well at that time. But a year before he died, Rudy Salam began to have difficulty speaking.
“Talking was still nice at the time. Then from last year he started talking I don’t know what he was talking about,” she explained Roy Marten.
