Thiruvananthapuram: 6 cows were moved to the new cowshed built at a cost of 43 lakhs at Cliff House, the official residence of Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. 6 cows were moved here after the construction of the barn which was built at a cost of 42.90 lakh rupees was completed. In the old stable there will be 2 cows and 4 calves.
42.90 lakhs was fined for the construction of stables and corrals at Cliff House during a severe financial crisis. The new barn is thatched. There are also plans to build another floor for staff quarters. Cliffhouse has 8 cows and 4 calves. Of these, six cows were moved to the new barn. Four fans are installed in the 800 square foot shed which can accommodate 6 cows. Adjacent to the stable, a room for storing forage, etc. was created. and a rest room for the workers. The Public Works Department of Construction completed construction of the barn in 2 months.
Lakh 25.50 was fined for the installation of the lift at Cliff House which has a total of two floors. Its construction work has also begun. Amounts of 31.92 lakh rupees have been allocated for the maintenance of the swimming pool at Cliff House. Strong protests are being raised against the government, which continues to be glitzy and opulent, even as it is repeated that the state is in a serious financial crisis.
