Despite their public criticism of the royal family, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will be welcome when King Charles is crowned in the spring, according to The Telegraph.
King Charles’s coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May next year.
The bride and groom will be included in this ceremony if they want to participate, writes the British newspaper The Telegraphwhich does not cite sources cited.
According to the celebrity website tmz extension many have wondered if the couple will receive an invitation in the wake of the new documentary series ‘Harry & Meghan’, which premiered on Netflix last Thursday.
Criticize the royal house
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stopped running as a royalty in 2020and moved to the United States the same year.
The new series has promised to give viewers “the whole truth” about the couple’s break with the British royal family.
And the reactions were not long in coming. After last week’s premiere, the series has received tremendous attention around the world.
The first part is a lot about how the love story started, before everything took a dramatic turn.
In the last part, the couple criticizes the royal house.
– I wonder what would have happened to us if we hadn’t retreated the moment we did, says Prince Harry.
– The security around us has been withdrawn. Everyone around the world knew where we were, Duchess Meghan says.
– The scapegoat
It is above all the duchess who is in a bad mood after what emerges in the series.
Among other things, many believe that he is making fun of the fact that he had to say no in front of the now deceased Queen Elizabeth.
But there are also several people who think Meghan has been misunderstood.
One of those who side with the Duchess is her friend Lucy Fraser. In a clip posted on the Netflix YouTube channel, she states:
– She became the castle’s scapegoat. They fed stories about her – whether they were true or not – to prevent other less favorable stories from being published.
Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on any of the allegations that appear in the documentary.
