A torchlight vigil “for peace in Ukraine” will take place at the Storting on Saturday. “Ceasefire and negotiations now!” are among the slogans. Ukrainians in Norway are critical.
LO in Oslo and Rødt Oslo were among those who spoke at a commemoration at Eidsvolls in front of the Storting on Saturday.
It is organized by the so-called Peace Initiative 2022. They are calling for all Russian troops to be withdrawn from Ukraine. At the same time, they are now calling for negotiations and a ceasefire.
