The body design of the Moto X40 is relatively average. The official selling point is the narrow frame and the four-sided curved surface. The body is 8.59mm thick and weighs 199g. The Moto X40 features a 6.67-inch OLED screen, FHD+ resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The front selfie lens is 60MP, and the tri-lens camera on the back is a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP dual zoom vertical lens.
Four configuration options
The Moto X40 has a built-in 4,600mAh battery that supports 125W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 15W reverse power delivery. The Moto X40 has a black and powder blue body, with 8+128.8+ 256, 12+256 and 12+512 four configurations, priced at RMB 3,399, 3,699, 3,999 and 4,299 (equivalent to HK$3,790, $4,125, $4,459 and $4,794), presale now starts in China and overseas market it is expected to be rebranded and launched next year.
