Good news for Jane Fonda: her chemotherapy is working well. The 84-year-old actress has been cleared by her oncologist to stop her lymphoma treatment for the time being. Fonda writes it to him on Thursday website.
Fonda calls the news “the best birthday present ever.” The actress will celebrate her 85th birthday on Wednesday.
“Thank you to everyone who sent me good luck wishes. I’m sure they contributed to this good news,” writes the Grace and Frankie-actress.
He says that especially the last chemotherapy was very difficult. “This lasted two weeks and it was hard to do anything about it.”
It’s not Fonda’s first time undergoing cancer treatment. She the actress has had breast cancer several times and in 2016 she had one breast removed.
