TIME.CO, Jakarta – Head of the Tax Policy Office of the Ministry of Finance o Ministry of Finance Febrio Nathan Kacaribu responded to the opinion of a number of parties regarding the grant plan electric machine and electric motorcycles as a policy that blurs the sense of budgetary justice.
According to him, giving subsidies from the state budget of revenues and expenditures or APBN does not mean giving privileges to the rich. The reason is, from everything State budgetthe government continues to prioritize human resource development, which includes the education and health sectors.
“For human capital, the APBN is quite large. Education is around 20 percent, health spending is increasing, exceeding 5 percent,” Febrio said at the DPR building on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Meanwhile, a budget of IDR 120-130 trillion has been budgeted for the Family Hope Program or PKH in recent years.
The rest, Febrio said, were allocated a large-scale infrastructure procurement budget that hit more than Rp 300 trillion. Meanwhile, subsidies for electric cars and motorcycles are aimed at industrial transformation and budgetary justice.
Febrio’s explanation responds to the point of view of some parties who see the subsidy plan for electric cars and electric motorcycles as giving the impression of favoring the rich.
