Russia warns US not to send Patriot to Ukraine – Russia

Russia, through its embassy in Washington, has warned the United States not to send Patriot missile systems to Ukraine.

“If the media publications about the planned delivery of systems of this type are confirmed, we will consider this a provocation with unpredictable consequences,” the Russian embassy in Washington said in a statement.

According to the Associated Press, the White House will decide in the coming days whether to send Patriot missile systems to Ukraine. This would be the most advanced missile system Kiev will have. The air defense system can take out fighter jets, drones and missiles from long ranges, BNR notes.
