The British royal family will attend a special church service on Thursday evening in honor of Queen Elizabeth, who died in September. King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine, among others, attend the Together At Christmas service at Westminster Abbey in London.
“We are preparing to welcome our guests. We pay tribute to the people who have made an extra contribution to their communities and pay tribute to the late Queen,” the Prince and Princess wrote on Twitter.
Also, they put up a bunch of photos of the decorations in the Christmas tree. Many of these decorations are Paddington Bear themed. Shortly after the Queen’s death, many people left items at the bear for her.
The memorial service for Elizabeth is an initiative of Princess Catherine. The service will reflect on the Queen’s death and her values and principles. British stars like Craig David and Samantha Barks perform during the service.
