Well, let’s go to the choices:

GAME OF THE WEEK

Detroit to New York Jets (-0.5)

You might be surprised by this pick for Game of the Week. It’s just that, honestly, I don’t think we’re going to have a more fun duel than this.

On one side are the Lions, who have won five of their most recent six, their only loss being to Buffalo (and by a field goal).

In their last four wins they have scored 31 or more points, including 40 at Jacksonville and 34 y Minnesota In the past week. Also, in that six-week period, Jared Goff he has eight touchdown passes and zero interceptions.

The team that made us fall in love Hard hits and to which many experts have labeled “Surprise of the Year”, has finally clicked thanks to the unique style of the trainer Dan Campbell.

On the other end are the Jets, who after starting the season with a 6-3 record, are 1-3 after the bye week and have had to use three quarterbacks, including Zach Wilsonthe second overall pick of the 2021 Draft that begins to emit a fetid smell of bust.

Mike White (80 for 129,952 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions) didn’t hurt in relief but is still in doubt for the game against the Lions after a pair of ferocious rib shots he took in Buffalo.

If White can’t start, the Jets will have to go to the veteran. Joe Flaccowhich is 1-3 this season.

New York’s defense could also lose one of its starters, the tackle Quinnen Williamsleading the team in sacks with 11 and who suffered a calf injury in the loss to the Bills.

The Jets rank fourth in pass defense and sixth in average points allowed per game, at 18.7.

One of the duels to follow in this game is the one between the rookie cornerback of the Jets, Gardner sauce doors Amun-Ra San Brown. Gardener leads the NFL with 16 passes defensively and St. Brown leads Detroit wide receivers with 82 receptions, 898 yards and six touchdowns.

You choose: Despite losses on both sides of the ball, the Jets defense will keep this game close, but Goff and Detroit’s offense will make enough big plays to settle this matchup and still hope they can make the playoffs as a Wild Card in the NFC. Lions 23-20 NYJ

YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN: The NFL will consider whether the penalties for rudeness on the quarterback are reviewable

SAFE CHOICE

Philadelphia (-8.5) and Chicago

Chicago’s defense is mediocre and this season Jalen hurts it tore apart mediocre defenses. Eagles 38-23 Bears

SHOCK SPECIAL

Baltimore and Cleveland (-3)

Deshaun Watson missed completing 50% (38 of 64) of his passes, has only one touchdown and two interceptions in two games for the Browns. Baltimore 23-17 Cleveland

TWO MINUTES BY CAR

San Francisco (-3.5) to Seattle

with the rookie Brock Purdi At the controls, the Niners look solid or more solid than they do under Jimmy Garoppolo. 49ers 29-14 Seahawks

Indianapolis to Minnesota (-4.5)

The Colts have won six straight against the Vikings; I don’t think there’s a surprise, but it’s a closed game. Minnesota-Indianapolis 24-20

Miami to Buffalo (-7.5)

Yours Tagovailoa and the Dolphins looked bad two weeks straight; Additionally, the Bills have won seven of the most recent eight in this rivalry, which now has serious postseason implications. Buffalo 27-20 Miami

Pittsburgh and Carolinas (-2.5)

There is too much evidence that Mitchell Trubisky He doesn’t belong in the NFL. Panthers 27-19 Steelers

Kansas City (-14) in Houston

If the Chiefs don’t relax, as they did last week in Denver, this must be a massacre. Kansas City-Houston 38-21

Dallas (-5) in Jacksonville

The Cowboys got tough against Indianapolis and Houston…and they’re going to get tough against the Jaguars. Dallas-Jacksonville 31-29

Atlanta to New Orleans (-4)

Golden opportunity for New Orleans to enter the most horrific division fight in the league. Saints 24-17 Falconi

Arizona and Denver (-3)

How bad will the Cardinals be, that the Broncos are favorites. Denver-Arizona 23-17

New England (-1.0) to Las Vegas

Josh McDaniels against her former boss, a certain Bill Belichic. Y Josh Jacobs against Bill Belichick’s regular defense. Raiders 24-21 Patriots

Tennessee & Los Angeles Chargers (-3)

The Titans have lost three straight by a combined score of 58-91; the Chargers have won three of their last seven, but I liked what I saw of their defense against Miami. LAC 27-22 Tennessee

Cincinnati (-4) and Tampa Bay

Some really think so Tom Brady could he still play another year in the NFL? Bengals $28-19

New York Giants and Washington (-4)

Do whatever, but please DO NOT TIE again. Commanders 27-20 Giants

Los Angeles Rams & Green Bay (-7)

Don’t blame calendar planners. This was supposed to be a playoff game. Packers 26-17 rams

In the past week: 7-6

Total in the season: 124-82-2
