King Saud Medical City has unveiled the causes that can expose children to cancer and the methods of prevention.
He explained that the reasons are chromosomal abnormalities, exposure to radioactive materials and the advanced age of the parents.
He added that prevention involves taking care of the child’s nutrition and avoiding intense exposure to radiation, while if he suffers from a genetic syndrome, he must follow up with a geneticist.
