Sony’s brand new VR headset will also be launched on that date, Playstation VR2 (PS VR2).
It means, franchise will play its role again as it did in 2016, when Resident Evil 7: Biohazard became the key game to launch PlayStation VR.
On February 22, 2023, Resident Evil Village VR becomes a free DLC (downloadable content) for standard PlayStation 5 (PS5) games.
This means that players who already own the standard Resident Evil Village game will get some instant PSVR2 content for free.

Capcom promises that PSVR2’s Sense controller will allow players to interact with their environment in new ways.

Players can raise their arms to protect themselves from nearby enemies, and weapons will look more realistic in VR mode.
