Kylian Mbappe, top scorer of the French national team, supported his friend Ashraf Hakimi, right-back of the Moroccan national team, after the semi-final of the 2022 World Cup.
France had defeated Morocco with two clean goals hosted by the Al-Bayt Stadium, qualifying for the dream final for the second consecutive edition.
Mbappé was seen consoling his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Hakimi after the final whistle, and the two players exchanged shirts.
A photo of Mbappé spread on social media as he lay on the ground next to Hakimi in the players’ exit corridor.
And the owner of the number 10 shirt wanted to console his dear friend through his personal account on the social communication application “Twitter”.
Mbappe wrote: “Don’t be sad brother, everyone is proud of what you have done, you have made history.”
