The Man Who Killed Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Paul Pelosi the end of October in their San Francisco home with a hammer targeted multiple public figures. This was stated to the judge by an officer who questioned the suspect on the day of the attack.
David DePape had in his sights, among others, the actor Tom Hanks, Hunter Biden (son of US President Joe Biden) and the Democratic governor of California, Gavin Newsom. The officer did not say whether police had evidence that DePape had concrete plans to harm them.
DePape, 42, is charged with attempted murder. He is also suspected of “obstructing, influencing or retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member.” The US Justice Department says they add up to 50 years in prison.

That night, the intruder plans to take Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi hostage because “there is evil in Washington” and she is second in line for the presidency.

After yesterday’s hearing, the judge ruled that there is sufficient evidence to allow the case to continue. DePape’s next hearing is expected to be Dec. 28.
No more boss
Recently, Nancy Pelosi (82) announced it resign as party leader of Democrats in the House of Representatives. He will hand over his duties in January, when he will also resign as Speaker of the House.
To the intermediate achieved by the Republicans by majority, Republican Kevin McCarthy then takes over Pelosi’s gavel. He will serve as a member of his California constituency.
