Twitter removes account following Elon Musk’s private jet | News

LOOK. Jack Sweeney famously follows the rich and oligarchs into the sky

Tesla CEO Elon Musk began to get annoyed in the fall of last year by the Twitter account on which his private jet flights were being followed. He wanted to get rid of it fast, but that’s not counting the then 19-year-old boy behind the account, Jack Sweeney.

Musk offered the teenager $5,000 (€4,700) in January to block the Twitter account, but Sweeney felt the offer was too low. Later, a car leasing company offered him a Tesla in exchange for closing the account. Sweeney didn’t respond because he was supposed to return the car after three years.

Now it seems that the @elonjet account is no longer available on the social network. “Account Suspended” is what you will see on the Twitter page. Sweeney confirmed to the Bloomberg news agency that she no longer has access because she “violated Twitter rules”.

Sweeney’s other Twitter accounts, such as one that tracks Vladimir Putin’s plane and one that tracks the flights of Russian oligarchs, can still be found on Twitter.
