The Hyperloop definitely has potential. Investments, especially in structurally weak countries, can quickly pay off thanks to logistics. Even if the technology is likely to take a few more years to complete, when the first successes are there, many countries and municipalities will wonder whether it makes more sense to invest in new and better transport technologies rather than just money in the modernization of to cap railway lines . Either way, research in this area is still under the radar, but things are happening, especially in Germany.
