Comedian Kim Shin-young won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the film ‘Decision to Break Up’.
On the 14th, Kim Shin-young won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 9th Korea Film Producers Association Awards for the film “Decision to Break Up”.
Kim Shin-young wrote on her Instagram, “Finally ‘Decision to Break Up’ 9th Korea Film Producers Association Award for Best Supporting Actress. Thank you ‘Decision to Break Up’ team and still miss you. Thank you so much for the award Thank you for watching the film” along with a photo of the trophy.
Park Hae-il’s Young Detective… Park Chan-wook “Genius”
Kim Shin-young played the role of young detective Yeon-soo from Hae-joon (Park Hae-il) in the film ‘Decision to Break Up’ directed by Park Chan-wook released last June, and showed his acting only. She was also nominated for the Best New Actress award at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards held last month.
Director Park has praised Kim Shin-young with modifiers such as “born actor” and “genius” in various interviews.
Director Park Chan-wook appeared on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” which aired last July and said, “Kim Shin-young is someone who smiles automatically just hearing her name.” I was convinced that person would be great as an actor.
