Meghan Markle, in the docuseries released on December 8 by Netflix, in which she and Harry talk about the experiences of their lavish life, I bet in these chapters on flower power or “flower power” like that style of outfit.
The Duchess of Sussex opted for this design, whose slogan “flower power or flower power” was used by hippies in the late 1960s as a symbol of the ideology of non-violence. And that symbolism was also brought to clothing with dresses where flowers were the protagonists.
Meghan wears a natural silk dress by designer Oscar de la Renta, with very delicate flowers. Meghan revealed that when she was part of the royal family she chose to wear neutral tones because she could never wear the same color as an “elder” member of the family. In this way, while adding a few small color details, you have ensured that you respect what is indicated by the protocol. She said: “I used a lot of muted tones so that I could go unnoticed. I wasn’t trying to stand out,” said Harry’s wife.
Harry and Meghan will continue on December 15th. In this installment, Harry, the prince, makes strong statements towards his brother and future king of the crown. In the preview he says: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.” The couple appear in the promotional short for this second part explaining why they resigned from royal duties: “They weren’t throwing me to the wolves, they were feeding me to the wolves,” Meghan explained. In turn, Harry noted that both he and his wife were victims of “institutional manipulation”.
The series continues and the stakes are much higher than club power.
