Banco Fihogar granted loans of RD$21 billion

The fihogar bank celebrated 45 years in the Dominican financial market, during which time it served more than 115,000 clients of loans and deposits.

Alan Muñoz, executive vice president, said the entity has made more than 125,000 loans in excess of RD$21,000 million.

Muñoz said that, over the past five years of service, the firm has adapted to the international needs and trends of the financial services consumer and addressed these changes through technology, creating financial solutions that promote financial inclusion and adapt to the expectations of the current customer.

The executive also announced that his Reset product is celebrating the third anniversary of opening the first 100% digital bank account in the country, after making its first opening in December 2019. He added that currently digitally connected users exceed the total of bank customers connected through traditional channels.

“Today we have reached these 45 years, embracing innovation and promoting the development of new and better services, which are the basis of a bank that adapts to changes and remains current over time”, said the entrepreneur.
