It’s Official and a Fact “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge” comes to Universal Studios Hollywood to stay. The technologically advanced attraction that is inspired by the popular Mario Kart video game series will open its doors on February 17, 2023.
The organization shared important information about everything the visiting public will find in the park within its new attraction. Through a press release they clarify that from the moment visitors cross the iconic ‘green tube’, they will begin a journey full of exploration, discovery and lots of fun. “Their journey begins as they enter ‘Peach’ castle before venturing further into the colorful ‘Mushroom Kingdom’.”
The magic of Super Nintendo World will take guests into the 360-degree world of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, where they will become an integral part of their exciting universe. The interaction, however, in this new attraction involves the acquisition of Power-Up Bands (portable interactive bracelets). Purchasing these wristbands will allow you to deepen your interactions throughout the area.
Furthermore, as expected, within this new attraction, themed dinners will also be offered at the Toadstool Café and the option to shop at the 1-UP Factory store.
Inside the park one of the main attractions will be “Mount Beanpole”, which is located in the center and serves as the entrance queue to “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge”. Zones including ‘Bowser’s Castle’ and ‘Interactive Gameplay’ will have plenty to talk about as at least in the latter, visitors will be fully immersed in a captivating world of real gameplay, including punching, blocking to collect digital currencies and a variety of interactive.
