EDISON (New Jersey/United States)–(COMMERCIAL THREAD)–30 teams and people from companies around the world received awards at the first edition Digital Engineering Awardslaunched this year by L&T Technology Services (LTTS) in partnership with Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and consultancy firm, and leading business news channel CNBC-TV18.
The award winners were recognized last night at an awards ceremony and gala dinner at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey.
A first-of-its-kind initiative for the global ER&D industry, the Digital Engineering Awards recognize the work of engineering teams and individuals who continue to redefine innovation, who create new technologies that benefit their businesses, stakeholders and communities and who are committed to sustainable change in the industry.
Two types of prizes are awarded in nine categories: Engineering The Change [Den Wandel gestalten] (for organizations) Sowie Engineer at heart [Ingenieurskunst im Herzen] (for individuals).
The premiere of the Digital Engineering Awards was attended by people from more than 70 companies from North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, which are recognized in their respective industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, telecommunications and hi-tech, as well as medical technology occupy all a market leading position. A total of over 120 nominations were submitted.
The winners were selected by a well-known jury, the Dr Marcos Kauffman of Coventry University, Greg Powers of BioTech how Prashant Kelker, Gaurav Gupta and Steve Hall of the ISG belonged.
The winning companies and engineers were awarded in the presence of Amit Chadha, CEO and Chief Executive Officer of LTTS, Michael P. Connors, President and CEO of ISG as well as from Parikshit Luthra, deputy director and bureau chief of Network 18at the awards ceremony, which was attended by executives from over 30 companies from around the world.
