The press revealed that Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo is currently training in the training center of his former club Real Madrid, just days after he was ruled out of the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup, after losing to Morocco with a unanswered goal.
Ronaldo is not currently associated with any club following the termination of his contract with Manchester United, following a media interview during which the Portuguese national team captain criticized the club, its management and Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag, noting that he felt “betrayal” there.
And Spanish website ‘Relevo’ revealed that Ronaldo is currently training at ‘Valdebebas’, Real Madrid’s main training center, 4 days after leaving the World Cup.
The report states that Ronaldo has asked permission to train alone in another stadium, away from the stadium where coach Carlo Ancelotti’s battalion is engaged in morning training.
He continued: “Ronaldo’s return there shows that the relationship between Real Madrid and the player is still good. Ronaldo wanted to train in a place away from prying eyes and did not communicate with his former colleagues.
Ronaldo spent 9 seasons with “Merengue” between 2009 and 2018, during which he played 438 games in all competitions, scoring 450 goals and making another 131.
