The Federal Police of Belgium has published photos of the findings in the homes of the now former vice president of the European Parliament Eva Kylie, former MEP Antonio Pancheri and the suitcase found in the hands of Kylie’s father. The photos were uploaded to the police pages in the social networks Facebook and Twitter.
The Belgian Federal Police has found nearly 1.5 million euros in raids during its investigations in the Brussels area in connection with a suspected corruption case.
Belgium’s pre-trial council is expected to decide today whether former European Parliament vice-president Eva Kylie will spend time awaiting trial in Harren prison in Brussels or be released under restrictive conditions.
Together with Kylie, her partner Francesco Giorgi, former Italian MEP Antonio Panzeri and one other person will be taken to the Preliminary Investigation Department.
According to Kylie’s lawyer in Greece, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, she will ask for an update until next Tuesday. She denies all the accusations attributed to her, claims that the money found in her house and in her father’s suitcase belongs to her husband, she herself did not know its existence and when she found it she asked him to go immediately to take and return it. Eva Kylie you claim to be innocent and not to have been funded by Qatar or anyone else.
