Brilliant artist Elita Patmalniece sometimes she still sees Jānis Grodumas in her dreams, but now a new person has entered her life. You revealed it very carefully and discreetly in an interview for the most popular Latvian magazine “Ieva”.

Patmalniece always called her relationship with legendary musician ‘Livu’ Jānis Groduma a miracle that happened to her. Their happiness was short-lived: Grodum died in 2010, aged 52, leaving him in mourning for many years.
In an interview with ‘Ieva’ this week, Elita Patmalniece said that miracles are happening again in her life: “Every new relationship is a miracle!” The artist doesn’t want to tell much about her new friend, because everything is still in its infancy and she doesn’t know what will happen yet, but Patmalniece is no longer alone.
“It seemed like it would never be possible again, but it turns out – it is. No, well, I don’t want to talk much about it yet, because I don’t know what it will be like. At one time, when I met Jānis, it was also a miracle that started right away at Christmas [..] Miracles really happen on this earth, I can say for sure. You don’t believe, you don’t believe, and then it happens,” the brilliant artist tells the magazine.
