Then, the masses made their way to the front of the KPU building. The atmosphere warmed up as the crowd pushed the fence of the KPU hard. They wanted to go inside and meet the KPU commissioner.
The head of DPW PRIMA DKI Jakarta, Nuradim jumped over the fence of the KPU building. He then he entered the building around 2pm WIB. Not long after, Nuradim was released by police officers.
3 requests from the First Party
DPW PRIMA DKI Jakarta chief Nuradim said his party had submitted 3 requests to the KPU. The first request, Nuradin said, is to ask the KPU to be transparent.
“We are back on the streets demanding the KPU, where right now the KPU has no transparency towards other political parties, be it the public or the public,” he said when met by detik.com in Taman Menteng.
The second request, Nuradim continued, is to ask for the KPU to be checked. Nuradim accused several parties that did not meet the requirements but still passed the administrative verification.
“Secondly, we will demand that the KPU be checked immediately because there are several political parties that do not meet the requirements. However, there are elements in the KPU who deliberately intervene in the KPUD, deliberately to push through political parties,” he explained.
Hence, Nuradim questioned the KPU’s decision not to approve the Prima Party. He accused the KPU of acting politically.
“The last one, Prima, was deliberately addressed by the RI KPU because there was a very political decision by the RI KPU,” he explained.
