Four parties have asked not to support the government
Cabinet project “Gabrovski” enters the plenary hall for voting. This will be the first item on the MEPs’ agenda. So far, four parties have categorically refused to support a government with the GERB-SDS mandate. These are “Continue the Change”, BSP, “Democratic Bulgaria” and “Vazrazhdane”.

If the first attempt to form a regular cabinet fails, the president must transfer the second term to the next largest parliamentary group: “Continue the change”.
Entering the National Assembly building, GERB’s Denitsa Sacheva said she hoped responsible and reasonable deputies would vote for Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski’s government.
Andrey Gyurov of “Continue the Change” said the party’s parliamentary group would vote unanimously against a proposal from the GERB-SDS cabinet.
As MPs vote, the BOEC Civic Association organizes a protest in front of the parliament building. From there, they believe that most of the ministerial candidates were politically compromised people.
