Once again this year the city of Linz awarded five personalities with the coveted prize for the promotion of art. These are the winners:
LINZ. For 60 years, the city of Linz has been awarding the art promotion prize to support local artists and artists. This year, five people associated with Linz were awarded for their artistic work. The prizes are endowed with 3,600 euros per category and are awarded in five categories.
Five winners
After the expert jury reviewed, the city senate, as the responsible decision-making body, decided on the winners. The 2022 Art Promotion Award went to Julius Jell (architecture and urban planning), Stefan Brandmayr (Visual arts and interdisciplinary art forms), Sophia Braga (design, new media and communication), Renate Silberer (literature and cultural journalism) as well as Tanya Elisa Glinser (Music and Performing Arts).
