VGTV Profile Mads Hansen has some experience with digital splicing and has, among other things, used it as a tool for public spat with influencers.

This Christmas, Hansen is more peaceful and has one walking junction where the funds will go to the Right Forward Experiences organization.

On your First page they describe themselves as “a voluntary organization that works for children and young people who, for one reason or another, are kept outside the social community that the rest of us take for granted.”

The target is moved

The target for the joint has been moved several times over the past two weeks – most recently to three million, which it looks like it will hit very soon; At the time of writing, the amount raised is well over $2.9 million, after more than 11,000 donors have contributed.

On your Instagram-story updates Hansen’s followers on developments. There he posts humorous “magnet fist” videos, followed by a link to the junction.

“@kygomusic is really doing their part for all the kids to enjoy Christmas,” he wrote on Monday, after Kygo donated NOK 100,000.

This is after Alan Walker donated 50,000 last weekend.

The two pop stars from Bergen are therefore the people who have contributed the most so far.

DONATED BY: Alan Walker.

– Now, of course, I’m thrilled if Matoma is above, below or between Kygo and Alan Walker, laughs Hansen.

The list also includes well-known names such as Staysman, Petter Katastrofe, Kevin Vågenes, Thomas Alsgaard and Niklas Baarli.

– Extremely nice

According to recent tax filings, Kygo and Walker had $36.5 million and $23.5 million respectively in personal taxable income in 2021.

Hansen believes mediated artists still show magnanimity with their donations.

– These are very generous contributions regardless of how much they earn. That’s money they could spend on all sorts of other things.

Hansen points out that stars could easily do what most people do.

– Most of them give Not.

Alan Walker MER’s management would not comment on the artist’s donation.

Kygo’s co-manager did not respond to VG’s request for comment.

Hansen justifies choosing which organization to donate to with the fact that he knows it and how it is run.

Another reason is the fact that he himself has two children, he says.

– There are kids out there who don’t look forward to Christmas, because then they notice on their bodies that they come from less prosperous families, says Hansen.

– And the children who fear starting school in the new year, because then they will be asked what they received for Christmas, and therefore may not have received anything. Just the thought hurts. I don’t want any child to feel this way.
