Wife of former Kadiv Propam Polri Ferdy Sambo, Princess Candrawathi apologized to Sambo’s aide, Bripka Ricky Rizal and Sambo’s driver, Strong Ma’ruf for being drawn into a premeditated murder case Brigadier Joshua Hutabarat. Putri considers Ricky and Strong her son.
This was revealed by Putri responding to Ricky and Strong’s testimony at the subsequent trial in Brigadier Yosua’s murder case at South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (12/13/2022).
“To Dek Ricky and Uncle Strong, I apologize if Deck Ricky had to go through this, until Deck Ricky and Uncle Strong are your kids,” Putri said.
Putri expressed best wishes to Strong and Ricky. In a trembling voice, she Putri said that she would always pray for them.
“Mom’s best prayers are always with you two,” Putri said.
Putri Candrawathi was charged along with her husband, Ferdy Sambo, with the premeditated murder of Brigadier Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat. It is said that she Putri knew about the premeditated murder plan but did not prevent it from happening.
“Those who did it, ordered it to be done and took part in the act, deliberately and with pre-planning took the lives of other people,” the prosecutor said during the reading of the indictment in trial in South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Monday (10/17/2022).
