Motoo Fujiwara (vo, sol), Hiroaki Masukawa (sol), Yoshifumi Naoi (bb), and Hideo Masu (doctor) appeared on stage as a packed audience watched from the beginning. Fujiwara raised his guitar high, and the other three threw their fists hard at the fans. After a moment of silence, the first song performed was “Acacia”. Fujiwara shouted, “I missed you!” “K”, in which the audience surrendered to the world of sprinting, comfortable rhythms and heartbreaking lyrics, and “Astronomical Observation”, which was brilliantly played amidst glittering laser beams, came together to fuel the uplifting feel of the venue . it has been revealed.

Fujiwara looked at the packed venue and asked, “Are you okay? Is there anyone not feeling well?” He thanked the silent audience. “I might cry if I talk (laughs), so I won’t talk,” Fujiwara said, singing “Nanairo” instead of words. PIXMOB’s 7 colors of light made Masukawa’s sparkling guitar sound even more wonderful.

Masu swung the shaker in the intro, while Masukawa and Naoi snapped their fingers. After finishing “66 Route”, Fujiwara looked back on this tour and said, “It started in Sendai, and in between, someone contracted the coronavirus… Looking back on the memory of that time, my head thunders… ” he revealed his thoughts at a time when the danger of canceling the show was imminent due to his new coronavirus infection. On the other hand, Masukawa asked BUMP OF CHICKEN fans, who are about to celebrate their 27th anniversary, “Anyone who wasn’t born when they formed?” Thanks for finding me,” she cried.

“It’s a big obstacle for MC after Hiro-kun… (laughs),” Naoi said with a bitter smile. “In winter, it’s easy to run out of lip balm. The lip balm comes out (laughs) “, fans laughing with “There is winter”. Masu, who doesn’t usually do MCs, also shouted briskly from behind the drums: “Thank you, please enjoy to the end!”

In the second half, the four performed the song “Toumei Hikosen” from the album “COSMONAUT” released in 2010. He surprised the audience with this song, which was performed live for the first time in about 10 years, this time he performed his latest song “SOUVENIR”. Fujiwara moves back and forth across the stage, encouraging the audience to applaud. As the sense of unity in the hall increased, the four performed the ballad “Hana no Na” and immediately changed the mood. Fujiwara didn’t play the guitar, but held a microphone and sang enthusiastically. Fujiwara, who pointed to the floor many times, sang “There’s a Day Only I Can Do With You,” with different lyrics, conveying his thoughts to the fans who gathered at the venue that day.

At the end of the main story, “Arue”, “GO”, “ray” and the higher tunes are launched in succession. Earlier, Fujiwara apologized, “If I use a handheld mic on a whim, the staff will fix it quickly (laughs),” but in “GO,” he used the mic again so he couldn’t control it. He held it in his hand and yelled, “Nice to meet you, Tokyo!”

In response to the applause of the encore, the four reappeared on stage and softly played “Merry Christmas”, which is perfect for this season. After creating a sentimental atmosphere in the hall with her warm ensemble, she once again brought the audience into a frenzy with “Garasu no Blues”. During the final chorus, which would normally be accompanied by a loud chorus from the audience, Masukawa and Naoi put their hands over their ears and headed towards the floor as if listening to the feelings of the fans who were unable to speak.

After Masukawa, Naoi and Masu left the stage after the performance, Fujiwara revealed his thoughts on this tour, which followed Makuhari’s performance, and commented on the trajectory of the band in its 26th year, saying, “I I feel incredibly proud. However, there are times when I want to complain. There have been many times from the old days where I thought, ‘I can’t convey what I thought,'” he recalled. Fujiwara, who has revealed his feelings at notable moments such as his major label debut and his first tie decision, said, “Let’s keep that kind of feeling, but don’t ignore it. Then I won’t be able to see all for three.” years because of Corona. I didn’t think it would be like this, but if I hadn’t stopped playing, I might have been able to perform live for the first time in three years. Of the things I’ve talked about so far, I may not have been able to meet someone here today. When I think about it, I think I was absolutely right.

“I am proud of this BUMP OF CHICKEN sign. Masukawa, Naoi and Masu also appeared, and a spectacular performance took place, as if they had collided with their thoughts for the past 25 years. Finally, the four performed “Diamond”. Fujiwara ended the tour with a smile, saying, “The four of us are BUMP OF CHICKEN. It’s the band of your choice. We even made a new song! One day we’ll release it to the world, so make sure you catch it!”
