A total of 797 students belonging to twenty-two educational centers in the Region of Murcia are fighting to obtain the title of ‘best virtual entrepreneur in the country‘ at the twelfth edition of the educational competition “Young entrepreneurial talent”. This competition is to find the best entrepreneurs nationwide and is organized by Abanca, Esic, Herbalife Nutrition and Praxis MMT.
Over the next four months, over 790 young people will convert for the first time in real managers to prove yours Entrepreneurial talent and managerial skills where will they lead your virtual company through a business management simulator. This powerful tool is already used in the training world and is developed by Practice MMTwho donated it free of charge to educational centers and has a value of over three thousand euros.
The Murcian teams, to get the victory, must first address a total of 10,634 students, belonging to 389 educational centers throughout Spain. The autonomous communities with the highest number of participants are: a) Andalusia with 1,556 young people, b) Catalonia with 1,456 and c) Galicia with 1,375. In this sense, this year the participation has increased by a 1.3%, compared to 10,423 students of the 392 educational centers that enrolled last year, and by participation by gender, 51% are men and 49% women.
The national fashion final will take place in Madrid next April. Until that date, young people, fourth year students of ESO, Baccalaureate and intermediate and higher level training cycles, will participate online from the classroom, and with the help of their teachers, to overcome different stages. The goal for reaching a place in the finals will be for your dairy farm to become the most prosperous and highest-profitable on the market. To reach that position, they must first make the best real-time decisions regarding running the business and not go bankrupt., like managers in real companies: define the business strategy, take into account the competition, changes in the market and different variables, as well as manage different areas such as marketing, finance, production or human resources, among others.
The top 75 teams with the best results will be the ones that reach the national final to contest the title of ‘best virtual entrepreneur in Spain‘. The winning teams will distribute prizes between students and teachers for over eleven thousand euros, in addition to the accreditation of diplomas. During the last edition, three Galician students from IES San Tomé de Freixeiro de Pontevedra won after defeating more than three hundred candidates from all over Spain.
