Chief of Army Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman open your entry regarding the rank of titular lieutenant colonel in the army that Deddy Corbuzier got. He said the rank was given directly by the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan).
“It was from the Ministry of Defense and signed by the TNI commander,” Dudung told reporters at the opening of a Livable House in Kalideres, West Jakarta on Tuesday (12/13/2022).
“This is directly from the MoD, because it’s from Komcad,” he added.
Dudung said there had been coordination with him before assigning the rank of titular lieutenant colonel to Deddy Corbuzier. “Yes, (coordination), that’s right,” Dudung said.
Dudung explained that the titular rank of lieutenant colonel could be received by anyone who served in a particular force unit.
“There are many titles awarded, there are also all forces. Those who served in that force. Like in the Air Force there are pilots, for example Garuda pilots were given the rank of lieutenant colonel to fly aircraft. So because they have contributed much to the strength,” he concluded.
Earlier, Admiral Yudo Margono opened his voice regarding the titular army lieutenant colonel rank Deddy Corbuzier got from Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto. Yudo said the proposal came from the chief of staff of the armed forces.
“We will ask later because that is why the proposal was initiated by the chief of staff,” Yudo told the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Tuesday (12/13).
Yudo said the rank was approved by the army chief of staff. The commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces already knows the rank assigned.
“This was approved by the Army Chief of Staff, right? There’s the TNI commander, here, here, that’s his authority,” Yudo said.
Previously, Deddy Corbuzier was promoted to Army Lieutenant Colonel by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. He said the rank was also approved by TNI commander general Andika Perkasa and KSAD General Dudung Abdurachman.
